Inter Knock Out Bayern In 2-2 Draw

Inter Milan advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after a dramatic 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the San Siro on Wednesday night, securing a 4-3 aggregate victory.

The second-leg clash, which ended in a stalemate, saw both sides battle intensely with goals coming in the second half after a goalless opening 45 minutes.

Harry Kane broke the deadlock for Bayern in the 52nd minute, finishing off a move assisted by Leon Goretzka to put the German side ahead.

Inter responded swiftly through Lautaro Martínez, who found the net in the 58th minute to level the score at 1-1.

Just three minutes later, Benjamin Pavard turned the tie on its head, giving Inter a 2-1 lead after being set up by Hakan Çalhanoğlu. That goal restored Inter’s aggregate lead, pushing them closer to qualification.

The drama continued as Bayern Munich’s Eric Dier scored in the 76th minute, assisted by Serge Gnabry, levelling the match once again at 2-2. Despite Bayern’s late push, the aggregate score favoured Inter 4-3, knocking the German giants out of the competition.
