Trump Says US Not Finished With Iran
President Donald Trump has stated that the United States is “not finished at all with Iran,” indicating
continued pressure on the Islamic Republic amid ongoing regional tensions.
Trump made the comment on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, during a press interaction at the White House. He
was responding to questions about recent developments in the Middle East, including reported Iranian
actions and US responses in the Gulf region.
The President emphasised that the US would maintain a firm stance on Iran’s nuclear programme,
regional activities, and support for proxy groups. He reiterated that all options remain on the table to
protect American interests and those of its allies.
Trump’s remarks come after a period of heightened military activity and diplomatic manoeuvring
involving Iran and several Gulf states.
They have been interpreted as a warning that the US is prepared to take further action if necessary.
