Céline Dion Announces Stage Return After Four Years
Céline Dion has announced her return to live performances with a 10-show residency at Paris La Défense
Arena in September and October 2026.
The Canadian singer made the announcement on Monday, March 30, 2026, her 58th birthday, in a video
message shared on social media and aired on French television. It marks her first series of full concerts
since her Courage World Tour was cut short in 2020 due to health issues.
Dion was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome (SPS), a rare and incurable neurological disorder that
causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms, in December 2022.
The condition significantly affected her singing voice and ability to walk, leading her to cancel all
remaining tour dates at the time.
In the announcement video, filmed near the Eiffel Tower, Dion said: “This year, I’m getting the best
birthday gift of my life. I will have the chance to come and see you and to sing for you again in Paris
starting this autumn, in September.”
She added that she is “doing great, managing my health,” “feeling good,” “singing again,” and even
“doing a little bit of dancing.”
Dion last performed a major concert series before the pandemic and made a notable appearance at the
2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, singing Édith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour.”
