Harvey Weinstein Reacts To Adrien Brody’s Oscars Speech

Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein has reacted to Adrien Brody mentioning his children with ex-wife Georgina Chapman during the actor’s 2025 Oscars acceptance speech.
Georgina Chapman began dating Adrien Brody in 2020 amid her divorce from Harvey Weinstein.
While accepting the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in “The Brutalist” on Sunday, Brody referenced his girlfriend’s two kids during his six-minute speech.

“I share this with my amazing partner, Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth but my sense of value and my values and her beautiful children, Dash and India,” Brody said, holding up his golden statuette.
“It’s been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life, and Popsy’s coming home a winner,” he added, using the nickname the children have given him.
Following the speech, Weinstein’s representative, Juda Engelmayer, provided a statement saying, “Harvey is happy for Georgina and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be.”

Chapman filed for divorce from Weinstein in 2017, as allegations of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment against the producer emerged, leading to the inception of the #MeToo movement. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.
Weinstein’s downfall was marked by accusations from numerous high-profile actresses, including Rose McGowan, Ashley Judd, Lauren Holly, Mira Sorvino, Sean Young, and Annabella Sciora, among others. Several accusers claimed that rejecting Weinstein’s advances led to them being blacklisted in Hollywood.
Weinstein remains incarcerated, serving a 16-year sentence in California for a separate conviction. Recently, he was transferred to New York’s Rikers Island for a retrial set to begin in April.
