Tudor Leaves Tottenham After One Win In Seven Games
Tottenham Hotspur and head coach Igor Tudor have parted ways by mutual consent after just 44 days
and seven matches in charge.
The club announced the decision on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Tudor, appointed on an interim basis until
the end of the season on February 14, 2026, following the dismissal of Thomas Frank, recorded one win,
one draw and five defeats during his short spell.
The 47-year-old Croatian’s tenure included a damaging 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on March
22, 2026, which left Tottenham 17th in the Premier League table, just one point above the relegation
zone with seven games remaining.
Tottenham confirmed the parting in an official statement: “We can confirm that it has been mutually
agreed for head coach Igor Tudor to leave the club with immediate effect.”
The club sits precariously close to the drop zone and is now without a head coach heading into the final
stretch of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Tudor had never previously managed in the Premier League. His brief time at Spurs saw the team slip
deeper into relegation trouble despite the initial hope that a change would stabilise their campaign.
No immediate replacement has been named, though reports indicate the club may now consider a
permanent appointment rather than another interim option.
