Bukayo Saka Agrees Five-Year Contract Extension At Arsenal

Arsenal and England international Bukayo Saka have reached an agreement on a new five-year contract
that will keep the prolific winger at the Emirates Stadium until June 2031, The Athletic’s David Ornstein
has reported.
The verbal deal, in place for several months, has now been cleared by Arsenal’s legal team, with a
formal announcement expected in due course.

The 24-year-old, a product of Arsenal’s famed Hale End academy, had been under contract until June
2027, but both player and club agreed terms on an improved long-term deal that secures his future at
the north London club for the prime years of his career.
According to reports, the new agreement reflects Saka’s ascendancy as one of Europe’s top attacking
talents and represents a key piece inArsenal’s broader strategy of keeping core players tied down long
term.

The winger has cemented his role as a central figure under manager Mikel Arteta and has been a driving
force behind Arsenal’s sustained push for domestic and continental honours.
Sky Sports News details that clubs across the Premier League and Europe were monitoring Saka’s
situation, but his preference has consistently been to remain at Arsenal, where he has become integral
to the team’s plans.
Saka has made in excess of 290 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions since his senior debut in 2018, scoring 77 goals and providing numerous assists.

He has also become a mainstay for the England national team and is expected to play a prominent role
at the 2026 FIFA World Cup later this year.
Arsenal’s retention of Saka comes amid a broader period of contract renewals at the club, with key
players such as William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly also
committing their futures in recent months.
The extensions are widely seen as part of the club’s ambition to build a stable core capable of
challenging for trophies

While official confirmation from the club is pending, the consensus among multiple reputable outlets is
that Saka has agreed and cleared terms on the five-year contract that reflects his status and importance
at Arsenal, making him one of the club’s long-term pillars through to mid-2031.
